Abdallah Tom
I am the president of the Medical Student Executive Council at Weill Cornell Medicine in Qatar. I thoroughly enjoy being a student advocate, voicing the students’ concerns to the leadership, and bridging the gap between them. I strive to make students' life on campus the best it can be, and facilitate a conductive, learning environment.
I am a physician in the making. I seek challenging opportunities and new ways to enhance my teamwork and leadership skills as well as opportunities to help and improve the society in which I live, and contribute to the scientific community at large. From an early age, I have been fascinated by by the workings of life. I enjoy a challenge particularly when the objective is rewarding, and although medicine is a tough career it can be enormously gratifying, highlighted by the doctors I have spoken to during my experience as well as on a personal level.
