The goal of this workshop is to improve the development and implementation of experiential teaching and learning of communication skills throughout Arabic-speaking countries with consideration of the challenges faced and methods to overcome challenges, to ultimately achieve optimal healthcare provision. Through interactive lectures and group discussions, participants will achieve a greater understanding of the current content and delivery of communication skills teaching throughout Arabic-speaking countries. The leaders and participants will also review the practical approaches for experiential teaching and learning communication skills in Arabic-speaking countries, taking into account language and health literacy. After the activities, participants will be able to describe the challenges to introducing communication skills teaching and will understand methods to overcome challenges in the region.
