Dr. Nadir Kheir


Dr. Kheir is an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy in Qatar University, and Chair of the Continuing Professional Development of Healthcare Professionals (Qatar University - Health Cluster). He was a founding member of the College and the Founding Chair of its Clinical Pharmacy and Practice Section. He has PhD from Otago University in New Zealand and Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical education from the University of New South Wales in Australia.

Dr. Kheir is a Fellow with New Zealand College of Pharmacists, and member of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand. His research interests are in the areas of health outcomes, pharmacy cognitive services, social and administrative pharmacy, pharmacy education, and the application and evaluation of Pharmaceutical Care practices. He was lecturer with the School of Pharmacy at the University of Auckland (New Zealand), where he was among the foundation team of the School and is currently an Honorary Academic at Auckland University.

Dr. Kheir is an Observer with Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE), executive member in the International Pharmacist Anticoagulation Care Taskforce (iPACT) and the Accreditation Committee of The Accreditation Department; Qatar Council for Health Care Practitioners (QCHP) - Ministry of Public Health in Qatar. He published widely in international peer-reviewed journals and delivered numerous invited presentations in pharmacy conferences and symposia nationally, regionally, and internationally.
