Mugisha Imani is currently studying a bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) at the Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS) in Mwanza Tanzania and is also the founder and CEO at Reach And Support All organization (RASA).
He is strong advocate for human rights, better health, better education and better social interactions. He involves fellow students and staff at RASA in conducting health campaigns and education on prevalence and impact of Non – Communicable diseases especially hypertension, BMI and diabetes in Mwanza and conducting screening camps for hypertension, diabetes and BMI while giving nutritional advice and lifestyle.
He provides education and campaigns against brutalization and stigmatization of the albinos, he educates and campaigns against provocative fortune telling and mistreatment of the elderly, women and children. His professional interests focus on public health and non-communicable diseases, and his current projects include screening for hypertension, diabetes, obesity and overweight in businesses and communities in Tanzania.
