Dr. William Bozeman

Dr. William Bozeman came to the University of Central Florida as Professor of Educational Leadership and Doctoral Program Director in 1985. Prior to joining the UCF faculty, he was a Professor and Department Chair at The University of Iowa. He received his Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he served as Program Evaluator with the Wisconsin Research and Development Center. Bozeman received his B.A. in mathematics and physics and his M.Ed. in Educational Administration. His research and academic areas include technology applications, systems planning and design, and program evaluation. Bozeman also served as a district federal programs director, high school physics teacher and high school principal. During his tenure at UCF, he served as a Department Chair and administrator of several grants. He has published extensively including over 100 articles, papers, and books.

Dr. Bozeman’s contributions to education and school leadership were recently recognized as he was honored with the Southern Regional Council on Educational Administration’s Lifetime Achievement Award and UCF Professor Emeritus. He was also recently appointed to the University of Wisconsin-Madison Board of Visitors, a group of individuals who have attained prominence in their field. In addition to his Florida-based consulting group, William Bozeman and Associates, he is a founding member of Southern Educational Strategies, LLC based in Memphis, Tennessee and served as a Visiting Professor at The University of Memphis and The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
