Ingmar Weber PhD

Ingmar Weber PhD (QCRI, Qatar): At QCRI (Qatar Computing Research Institute), Ingmar works on social media mining, web science and computational political science. Common to most of his research is the use of online data to understand offline behaviour. Before joining QCRI, Ingmar was a research scientist at Yahoo! Research. Dr. Weber has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers, 10 of which look at the use of social media for health-related studies. He did his PhD at the Max-Planck Institute for Computer Science.
