Saif Azzawi, MD
Dr. Saif Azzawi is a consultant plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon from the UK and the head of the plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery division at Aman Hospital in Qatar. Dr. Azzawi has a specialist interest in post-bariatric surgery body contouring.
Dr. Azzawi holds a CCT in plastic surgery from the UK and worked as a consultant plastic surgeon and clinical lead before moving to Qatar to set up the plastic reconstructive and cosmetic surgery division at Aman Hospital. During his previous posts at the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, he has also worked as the plastic surgery lead in the weight loss multi-disciplinary program.
Dr. Azzawi completed his medical degree at the University of Glasgow in 2009 and was awarded the Arbroath Prize. He was admitted to the membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2012 for general surgery, completed the Pan London plastic surgery six-year training program, and was admitted as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons for plastic surgery. He conducted further training fellowships in cosmetic surgery, post-bariatric body contouring, and reconstructive microsurgery in Melbourne, Sydney, and Adelaide.
Additionally, Dr. Azzawi is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and holds a position as a consultant burns and plastic surgeon with the City of London Field Hospital.
