Roberto Simons-Linares, MD
Dr. Roberto Simons-Linares is an interventional and bariatric endoscopist and the director of bariatric and metabolic endoscopy at Cleveland Clinic.
He completed gastroenterology and advanced/interventional endoscopy fellowships at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine (CCLCM). He trained for his bariatric endoscopy fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital - Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Simons-Linares has authored over 100 peer-reviewed manuscripts and multiple book chapters on endoscopy. He is also an editor for numerous peer-review journals, including the renowned American College of Gastroenterology journal. Additionally, he is an active member of multiple committees in GI, endoscopy, and bariatric medical societies.
His research interests include endoscopic bariatric and metabolic therapies, interventional EUS, ERCP in altered anatomy, endoscopic surgery, pancreaticobiliary diseases, artificial intelligence, developmental endoscopy, and device innovation.
