Dr. Vanda Abi Raad is a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the Lebanese American University, Gilbert and Rose-Marie Chagoury School of Medicine. She is the Assistant Dean for Continuing Medical Education and the Director of the LAU-Clinical Simulation Center.  

Dr. Abi Raad is interested in medical education and in simulation-based education. In 2010, she obtained a diploma in pedagogy of teaching in university from the Faculty of Education - St Joseph University and in 2015 a Master’s Degree in Health Professions Education (MHPE) from the University of Illinois, Chicago. In 2013, she became a Certificated Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and in 2020 a CHSE-Advanced level. Dr. Abi Raad is currently pursuing an Executive MBA degree at the LAU-School of Business.

Dr. Abi Raad is the author of publications on regional anesthesia and pain medicine, medical education and simulation-based education. She is regularly invited to deliver lectures and workshops in national and international conferences.
