Guillaume is Director of Research at Hamad Medical Corporation Ambulance Service (HMCAS), Professor of Simulation in Healthcare Education at the University of Hertfordshire (UK), Adjunct Professor of Education in Medicine, Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar, and visiting Fellow at Northumbria University (UK).  He has been involved in healthcare education and research for 2 decades, with a particular interest in teamwork and human factors training in relation to patient safety using various simulation modalities.  He is one of the HMCAS Executive Sponsors for projects undertaken by colleagues as part of the Clinical Care Improvement Training Programme.  He used to manage the University of Hertfordshire’s multiprofessional clinical simulation centre before relocating to Qatar, but retains his University affiliation for research supervision and consultancy purposes.  He is widely published in simulation education and is the only person currently on the Editorial Board of the 4 major peer-reviewed clinical simulation journals. He recently co-authored the "Pocket book for Simulation debriefing in Healthcare" which is highly relevant for clinical educators and clinicians interested in bettering themselves and helping others to provide safe patient care by engaging in reflective discussions and critical thinking.
