Ayad Al-Moslih, MBBS, MHPE, EMDM
Dr. Al-Moslih, is currently leading the clinical skills program at the College of Medicine, Qatar University.
He commenced his career as an emergency physician and chose medical education as a career track where his passion to both of these fields made him combine them in the journey of his career development by completing a Master in health professions education at Maastricht University in Netherlands. Moreover an MSc in Disaster Medicine at the University of Eastern Piedmont in Novara, Italy. His interest in training development enabled him to develop and implement several training and assessment programs that focus on introducing novice learners to clinical competencies in addition to easing the transfer of learning.
He is also a certified trainer in handful of life support courses within the field of resuscitation, trauma, disaster medical response, Hazmat life support, and point-of-care ultrasound. His research interests revolve around innovative approaches in enhancing learning in undergraduate medical education i.e. ubiquitous learning, learning clinical skills in simulated environments, and assessment of clinical competence.
He has been a Regional/Territory Faculty for the American Heart Association’s Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) program since 2011; and has lead the Review Commission for the Arabic translation of AHA 2015 Guidelines for the past five years.
