Abdul Sattar Raslan, BS
Abdul Sattar Raslan is currently a fourth year medical student at the American University of Beirut- Faculty of Medicine. He is part of several taskforces, namely those directed in Medical electronic learning and technological advancements in medical education. A Gold Humanism Honors Society member, he has also held leadership positions in a variety of NGOs both in and outside of AUBMC, as well as being a founder of an initiative that gives First Aid training to preclinical and clinical medical students.
His recent published article focused on the effect of social media on increasing the impact of health research and is currently working on a manuscript that identifies the physicians’ attitudes & perceptions of establishing an electronic health record (EHR/EPIC) at his university hospital.
