Ebtesam Abdulla, MSN
Ms. Ebtesam Abdulla is a distinguished nursing leader with over 14 years of experience at the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in Qatar. She has held various leadership positions, including charge nurse, head nurse at Leabaib Health Center, and nursing subject matter expert, and currently serves as director of nursing.
Her educational background includes an associate degree in nursing from the Higher Institute of Nursing in Qatar, a nursing degree from the University of Calgary in Qatar, a master’s in nursing leadership, and an executive master’s in emergency and disaster management from Georgetown University in the United States.
Ms. Abdulla’s contributions have been instrumental in shaping national and organizational healthcare. Notably, she played a crucial role in Qatar’s COVID-19 vaccination efforts, overseeing the administration of over 1.5 million doses and establishing standardized vaccine labeling processes across PHCC health centers. She also spearheaded mass casualty training programs and contributed to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ e-learning module.
Her influence extends to national committees and policy development, with significant involvement in nursing integrated care and medication safety. She developed the inaugural manual Nursing & Midwifery Guide at PHCC and has led various new service initiatives.
Recognized locally and internationally, Ms. Abdulla has been awarded for her contributions to public health and nursing practices and continues to advance nursing care through strategic leadership, research, and innovative programs.
