Guidelines

Qualitative and quantitative research, case studies, country reports, full sessions, thought papers, and theoretical papers are welcome. Creative submissions (for example, readings of narrative medicine fiction or poetry) will also be considered. The conference language is English. Posters will be displayed on the website and full details on poster preparation will be posted shortly. All abstracts will be blind peer reviewed and following a second peer review process, selected invited papers will be published in an edited volume. For examples of abstracts submitted to previous conferences, please see "Previous Conferences" below.

For multi-authored papers, at least one speaker must register as a "speaker." Speakers at the conference will receive an official "Speaker Certificate" and non-speaking authors attending the conference and attendees will receive an "Attendance Certificate."

Publication Opportunity

1. all peer-reviewed accepted abstracts will be eligible for publication in a peer-reviewed edited volume from SpringerNature
2. the research presented in the abstract can be previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere, but the authors agree that the texst of the submitted abstract is original and unpublished
3. abstracts will be checked for plagiarism with plagiarism detection software
4. papers accepted for publication must be original and not published elsewhere
5. accepted authors for publication will sign standard copyright agreements with SpringerNature
