Submission Guidelines
Posters should describe the research or innovation. We welcome research/innovations related to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education. These could be:
- Budding creative ideas for forthcoming projects aimed at enhancing teaching and curriculum design.
- Application and impact/outcomes of approaches used in medical education
- Findings from pilot studies or currently on-going projects
- Results of completed medical education research
Abstract Submission Structure
Abstract submission should be no longer than 350 words and must be structured as follows (The title, authors' details and headings are not included in the word count): First Author Name, Title, Institution, contact email
Second Author Name (Institution)

Fourth Author Name (Institution)

- Objectives or aim
- Methods
- Results
- Discussions

- Take-home message, lessons learned or next step
Presenters of poster abstracts must attend the poster session during which they will be asked to provide a three minute oral summary of their work.
All submissions will be reviewed by an independent committee and First author of the accepted abstract will be notified by early March 2019. All accepted abstracts will be published in the WCM-Q Medical Education Forum booklet. Four abstract submissions will also be selected for oral presentation at the retreat.
Poster presentations will be evaluated by an external committee for an award using a pre-defined rubric. The presentation that is deemed to best meet the directions/goals for submission will receive an award at the conclusion of the symposium.
Note: Poster Dimensions should be a maximum of 85 cm width x 110 cm height.
