"Breaking the Bias: Stories from Academia"
In honor of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2022, the division of Continuing Professional Development at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q) is holding an event titled “Breaking the Bias: Stories from Academia”. The IWD 2022 theme this year was: Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. A world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive and where difference is valued and celebrated.
We are inviting leading women in academia to share their journeys as they serve as role models for their students through telling the stories of their successes, their motivation, and the challenges and barriers they may have had to overcome. The session will be moderated with the goal of encouraging dialogue between the panelists, with participation of the attendees, both male and female.
