Nicole Joseph-Chin
Nicole Joseph-Chin is a Speaker, Writer and Globally respected Caribbean-born Social Entrepreneur and Advocate for Women’s Health. She is the Founder and CEO of Ms. Brafit Limited, an innovative Social Enterprise focused on Advocacy and Solutions for Global Girl’s and Women’s Health, with close to two decades of experience in Social Innovation and Impact Leadership. Nicole has developed her Social Enterprise into a Caribbean household name for dignity in women’s health, breast health, bra fitting, body acceptance, post-operative and mastectomy care. Nicole has developed educational programming and tools focused on the pillars of gender-focused health in the diverse stages of human development; catalysing the influence and impact on the economy, the workforce, the comfort and the self-esteem of women, girls and communities – a catalyst for social change.
Nicole has developed many innovative Women’s Health Solutions and is an advocate for economic empowerment, mentorship and global activism on gender equality and sustainable development. In 2017, she was part of a national coalition that successfully spearheaded the lobbying of government to effect changes in legislation towards ending child marriage in Trinidad and Tobago. Nicole belongs to many diverse global communities of social impact leaders and is a 2015 VV Lead Fellow, 2011 Alumna of US State Department IVLP, 2017 Alumna of Government of India ITEC Fellowship, and is the recipient of the AFETT Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 award.
