Georgios utilizes corneal confocal microscopy (CCM) to assess neurodegeneration and nerve repair in interventional studies in diabetic peripheral neuropathy. He is currently evaluating the diagnostic performance of CCM as an ophthalmic biomarker for dementia, delirium and schizophrenia.
