Julie Youm, PhD
Julie Youm, PhD, is the Associate Dean for Education Compliance and Quality and the Director of Educational Technology at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine.
Her recent work has focused on implementing effective uses of educational technologies for medical education as well as the continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes and program evaluation in the Office of Medical Education.
Dr. Youm is a Past Chair for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Information Resources (GIR) Steering Committee, current chair of the MedBiquitous Educational Methodology Work Group and an Apple Distinguished Educator. She was recently recognized with the AAMC GIR Vince Sheehan Service Award for her service and leadership to the technology in academic medicine community.
Dr. Youm presents widely on her work at national and regional conferences and publishes on her related scholarly work.
