Marcos Rojas, MD
Marcos Rojas is a physician who graduated from the University of Chile. During his training and professional practice, he has been involved in multiple educational projects and research initiatives. He founded both the Teaching Assistants Program and the Teaching and Learning Center at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Chile. He is also a recipient of the Patil Teaching Innovation Award from the European Association for Medical Education (AMEE).
Currently, he is the Chariot Program Lab Director at Stanford School of Medicine and a PhD candidate at Stanford University in the Learning Sciences and Educational Technology Design doctoral program.
His research explores the use of virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence in medical education. Additionally, he collaborates with Nobel laureate Carl Wieman in the IDEAL Lab, investigating the development of medical expertise. He is actively developing tools that utilize artificial intelligence to enhance and evaluate clinical reasoning among healthcare professionals.
