Laudy Mattar
Ms. Mattar’s professional journey in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) began in 2010, marking the start of a dedicated effort to enhance the expertise and abilities of professionals across various sectors. With a particular focus on healthcare since 2015 since joining Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar as the Manager for Continuing Professional Development, she has been pivotal in ensuring that healthcare professionals remain at the forefront of medical knowledge and practices, equipped to provide the highest standard of patient care.
Her passion for lifelong learning has always been a key part of her career. Before moving to Qatar, she was a computer science teacher and focused on improving digital literacy, and the use of innovative technologies among teachers and students, helping them keep pace with the fast-changing tech world.
Ms. Mattar’s current areas of interest are the applications of Extended Reality, the exploration of empathy within educational and business contexts, and the transformative potential of Educational Technology. Her visionary approach to incorporating these cutting-edge topics into professional development underscores her commitment to not only advancing the field of training but also to fostering a deeper, more empathetic connection with and among those it serves.
