Faculty Position

In a pioneering international initiative, Cornell University and Weill Cornell Medicine established Weill Cornell Medicine - Qatar (WCM-Q) through a unique partnership with the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. We are currently seeking candidates for a faculty position in Pediatrics.

We are seeking an individual with experience in teaching, clinical practice, and research in an academic medical center. The successful candidate will join a growing team of faculty, including pediatricians, at WCM-Q. Faculty based in Doha are expected to teach their specialty, model excellent practices, and contribute to the academic life of the Medical College and medical education community

Candidates should have an M.D. and current American Board certification in Pediatrics, or their accepted equivalents, and a record of excellence in teaching and scholarship. Experience with several learning modalities, including problem based learning (PBL), flip classroom, lectures, small group sessions, and journal clubs is desirable.

A comprehensive and highly competitive package, including foreign-service benefits, fully furnished housing, and other supplementary benefits, is provided. The appointment will be on a non-tenure track and is normally for three years in the first instance, renewable by mutual agreement. Clinical faculty will receive clinical privileges to conduct clinical work at affiliated hospitals and will have opportunities for research.
