Mr. Amjad Abdo is currently serving as the Events & Student Development Specialist at Weill Cornell Medicine-Qatar (WCM-Q). In this capacity, he oversees student organizations, advises the Medical Student Executive Council (MSEC-Q), manages student programming initiatives, and implements the leadership curriculum for student leaders. Prior to joining WCM-Q, Amjad worked closely with diverse groups of faculty, staff, and students at five American institutions, completed three internships, and accumulated more than 14 years of academic and professional experience in higher education. 

Mr. Amjad has worked in various offices in the area of student affairs, including Residence Life/Housing, Student Life, Student Activities, Multicultural Affairs, New Student Orientation, Judicial Affairs, International Students Services, Career Services, Alumni Affairs, Academic Support Services, and Academic Advising. Mr. Amjad completed his BA in Biology (minors: sociology and philosophy) at Le Moyne College, and his MS in Higher Education Administration from Syracuse University.
