Joshua Vognsen currently holds the position of Simulation Education Specialist at Weill Cornell Medicine – Qatar (WCM-Q). Prior to joining WCM-Q, Joshua was involved with simulation-based medical education at medical specialty societies in the United States. During this time, Joshua provided support for hi-fidelity manikin-based simulation, online eLearning, gamification, computer-based task-trainer development and serious gaming development for physician continuing medical education and maintenance of certification. As a member of the Clinical Skills and Simulation team at WCM-Q, Joshua is supporting the application of simulation-based medical education modalities. 

Joshua is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Healthcare Simulation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Joshua serves on the editorial board for the Simulation Technician Operations Resource Magazine (STORM) published by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
