Ms. ALFehaidi is the Clinical Dietitian Supervisor, Enaya Specialized Care Centre (ESCC) at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar. She joined HMC in October 2010 as a Clinical Dietitian for three years and was then promoted to the position of Senior Clinical Dietitian. 

Ms. ALFehaidi is an active member of several committees, which focus on patient care and management at ESCC. She is also the official preceptor for students from Qatar University affiliated to the Department of Health Sciences - Human Nutrition Program. She will be participating in a national project with the Surveillance, Monitoring & Evaluation Sub-Committee, Ministry of Public Health, Qatar.

Ms. ALFehaidi has developed patient care protocols on medical nutrition therapy such as management of hypoglycemia in long term facilities, maintaining feeding through the NGT and role of nutrition in the wound healing process. She was the first to make use of the benefits of cinnamon powder to treat hyperglycemia at the dietary department. She has made use of the arginine supplement with success in the treatment of chronic wounds.

Ms. ALFehaidi was invited as a speaker in intensive care at the Nutritional Therapy Conference 2017 to present Nutrition Management for SCI in Rehabilitation Settings. She also has presented a poster at the Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare Conference, 2016 and 2018 as well as at the EuGMS Congress 2018.

Ms. ALFehaidi graduated from Qatar University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Nutrition. She completed the Clinical Care Improvement Training Program (CCITP) Cycle 12 – 2017 and a project on “Improving Hypoglycemia Management by using a Standard Protocol at ESCC”. She was the recipient of the employee award certificate from the official corporate program of ‘Stars of Excellence’ for 3 consecutive years - 2013, 2014 and 2015.
