Fourth year students will be allowed to participate in the full range of activities in the Ophthalmology clinics at Rumeillah and Hamad General Hospital. Students will examine clinic patients and assist in the operating room under the Consultant's direction. Emphasis will be placed on the development of facility with ophthalmic instruments and in techniques of ophthalmic examination. The elective may involve evening or night calls.
