About the Interview
WCMC-Q selects applicants for interview on a competitive basis, according to the extent to which they fulfill the criteria described on the Pre-medical Admission Requirements page of this web site.
If you are offered an interview, we will notify you by e-mail containing a choice of date and time. You must confirm your attendance and choice as soon as possible by return e-mail. Actual interview times are not scheduled until we receive confirmation of your preferred date and time.
On the day of the interview, please plan to stay for all scheduled activities, which occupy most of the day. The day's activities will include:
- An information meeting with the Director of Admissions
- Interviews with members of the Committee on Admissions. The interviews are your opportunity to discuss your decision to pursue a career in medicine, your preparation for premedical and medical studies, and your interests and experiences.
- Meetings and lunch with current Pre-medical students.
- A tour of the Pre-medical and Medical Program facilities
