Develops, implements, and oversees operational systems for the management of recruitment and selection of talented and diverse candidates for admission to Cornell’s Qatar-based Premedical and Medical Programs. Collaborates closely with faculty, staff, and other members of the college, as well as with colleagues and partners in Education City and the Qatar Foundation.

Responsible for and directs all marketing, outreach, recruitment, and related activity for prospective students from early outreach to application and/or enrollment. Promotes the image of WCMC-Q nationally and regionally, attracts and recruits students with the potential of academic success, and facilitates access for a culturally diverse student population by planning and directing a yearly recruitment calendar. Advises prospective students and parents of WCMC-Q programs, services, and admission process.

Assists the Director of Admissions in counseling prospective applicants, coordinating university resources on and off campus into effective student recruitment programs and helps in enabling WCMC-Q to maintain enrollments and upgrading Admissions Office systems.

Provides support for the Office of Admissions including activities related to students’ recruitment process, informing students and applicants of events, policy and procedures; maintains admission database, assists in data collection and analysis.

Provides administrative support to the Director of Admissions and to the Office of Admissions including screening mail, organizing meetings and calendars and providing support to the processing of application for Pre-medical and Medical Programs.
